Who we are
JOSECO Enterprise, Inc. (“JOSECO”, “we”) operates this website to describe industrial services and to receive commercial enquiries and employment applications. The company is organised in Liberia. Where a registration number is published on this site, it appears in the footer; it is not restated here as a claim if it has not been supplied.
What this policy covers
It covers information you send through the enquiry forms, the job application form, email or telephone numbers published on this site, and limited technical data created when you load the pages. It does not cover client sites, partner systems, or WhatsApp and other channels that sit outside this website.
Information we collect
- Identity and contact details you enter: name, company, job title, email, telephone, country and preferred contact method.
- Project or partnership information you choose to provide: location, industry, service required, timing and the body of your message, plus any file you attach.
- For applications: name, email, telephone, location, cover letter and a curriculum vitae. A CV is required to submit an application.
- Technical logs that a hosted site typically keeps for security: IP address or a derived hash, time of submission, and the page from which a form was sent.
- Cookies and similar storage as described in the cookie policy. Analytics identifiers are loaded only if a measurement ID has been published in site settings.
We do not buy marketing lists. We do not require you to create an account to use the public site.
How we use it
Personal information is used to:
- respond to enquiries and applications;
- assess whether JOSECO can take on the work or the candidate;
- keep a record of correspondence for follow-up and, where relevant, for legal claims;
- protect the site against automated abuse (rate limits and a hidden field on forms);
- understand, in aggregate, how the public pages are used, only if analytics is switched on.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use enquiry or application data to run unrelated advertising campaigns.
Legal basis
For commercial enquiries, we rely on steps taken at your request with a view to a contract, and on JOSECO’s legitimate interest in answering business correspondence. For job applications, we process the file because you asked to be considered for employment. Where consent is requested on a form (the checkbox), that consent is for the specific use described next to it. You may withdraw it by writing to us; we may still keep a minimal record where the law requires it.
JOSECO will treat personal data in line with applicable Liberian law, including the Data Protection Act 2024 where it applies to the processing described here.
Sharing
Messages may be read by JOSECO staff whose role covers commercial, operations or human resources work. Hosting, email and file-storage providers who run this website or deliver notification mail may process data on our instructions. We do not publish CVs or enquiry attachments on the public site.
We may disclose information if required by a competent Liberian authority, a court, or a licensing body in connection with regulated blasting and explosives-related activity, and then only to the extent required.
Retention
Enquiries are kept for as long as they remain useful to the commercial conversation and thereafter for a limited archive period appropriate to industrial contracting (typically up to seven years where a file may be relevant to a claim). Unsuccessful applications are not kept indefinitely; successful files follow ordinary employment-record practice. You may ask us to delete a speculative application that did not proceed.
Security
Forms are served over HTTPS. Uploads are size-limited and type-checked. Access to the administration area is restricted to named users. No website can promise that a transmission is immune from interference; if you must send highly sensitive material, say so in the message and we will agree a better channel.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for a correction, object to a particular use, or ask for deletion where we have no remaining need or legal duty to keep it. Identity may need to be confirmed before a file is released. These rights do not require us to disclose other people’s data or JOSECO’s confidential commercial records.
Contact
Privacy requests should be sent using the details published below. If a channel is empty, it has not been released for public use. Use the contact form instead.
